Occupational Therapist - Full-time REQ#1211

Come check out our newly remodeled rehab department which has a therapy pool, ADL suite, and state-of-the-art equipment including the Neurocom and Dynavision. We have a fun rehab team with low staff turnover, hands-on (patient care) manager, and scheduled documentation time. Furthermore, being rural, we have the opportunity to treat clients of all ages with a multitude of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses which allows you to constantly use and improve your skills. Our hospital works with two different orthopedic groups, recently added joint replacement surgery, and we provide rehab services for outpatients, acute and swing bed inpatients, as well as home health care in Palo Alto County.
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for daily occupational therapy services in the Rehab department and will provide occupational therapy services to all patients according to established plan of care including evaluation, assessment, treatment program planning and implementation and appropriate documentation.
Assists in the planning, daily operation and marketing of the Occupational Therapy Department.
Assists in budget recommendation and preparation.

Current Iowa Licensed Occupational Therapist.
Must have a valid Iowa driver's license.
Must have the ability to be an autonomous decision maker and have very good interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to work with multicultural and multigenerational customers.
Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills a must.
Must be extremely detail-oriented, high level of time management skills, team player and able to adapt quickly to changing environment.
Must have basic computer skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
